The Entrance Gardens on both sides of the stairs usher visitors towards the reception area. On a friendly weather condition, the entrance gardens are highly conducive venues for sipping a cup of tea or coffee, relieving stress, while soul searching melodies fill the air.

Truly, our students and teachers are Friends of the Environment. They take care of the plants and propagate their kind to maintain the beauty of our garden.
REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE
The benches outdoors were made from recycled materials including the plant pots. We promote and practice the 3Rs to help conserve our natural resources.
Once seated at the entrance garden, the Mission and Vision of the school are very visibly written at the side of the guard house.

Gate-Pass and Identity System
An SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is implemented to ensure the safety and security during school hours. At the Security Gate, all visitors are required to deposit/leave their valid ID then log in. Visitors are provided with a Visitor’s pass for entry which is worn while they are inside the school campus.
Reception Hall
Visitors are ushered to the Reception Hall to be catered to the staff they would like to meet.
During enrolment time, this lobby is for parents and students while waiting for their number to be called then they can proceed to the registration staff or to the Accounts Office.
E-Learning
APS’s digital classroom provides students with the resources they need to succeed every day. We’ve installed an e-Learning system that allows our students to learn at their own pace in addition to classroom instruction. It offers a variety of e-Learning resources, including interactive online learning, to suit the varied learning needs and circumstances of each student.
Classrooms
Classroom accommodations are in accordance to the requirements of ADEK and the Health and Safety authorities. During learning activities, spaces for the mobility of the students are more than sufficient. Classrooms are equipped with the necessary tools and resources for each student’s growth to a well-rounded individual including technical know-how skills. Visuals are posted on the walls for better understanding about the current lesson including students’ exemplary works. In cycle 1, a provision for a reading corner (inside their classroom) is furnished with reading materials where students can spend ample time to read during their free or break periods.
ICT
Our learning laboratories are equipped with the necessary learning tools needed for their advancement.
The ICT labs are fully air conditioned with ergonomically designed furniture arrangements and a powerful server, complete with Wi Fi connections. Every terminal has the latest operating system and application software installed keeping in mind the syllabus requirements. Every computer is LAN connected and has access to the internet under the strict supervision of the ICT Supervisor.
Science Laboratories
There are separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry & Biology where experiment and demonstration are held. Each one is equipped with all the apparatus, specimens & reagents that cater to the requirements of the curriculum, syllabus and beyond.

Art and Physical Education
Beyond the development of academic skills, our sports and art facilities support students in their goals of leading healthy and active lifestyles. “All work no play makes Jack a dull boy”, therefore, physical education plays a crucial role in our curriculum, and the need for “Art-istic” experiences is basic to students’ life. We allow them to learn while playing and play while learning to explore their talents, develop skills and enhance their abilities. We ensure that all activities are held within a nurturing, encouraging health and safety environment.
Physical fitness is important for the holistic development of children.
OUTDOOR GAMES
The sprawling Sports Ground provides a field for Athletics/ football / basketball court/ volleyball court/ badminton court.

INDOOR GAMES : There are areas for indoor games which provides facilities like table tennis, chess and foosball
The Art Room is set aside for instruction in the visual arts. Students’ works of art are displayed along the walls.
The Library & e-Library
The intellectual heart of APS
The library – the APS Resource Centre – boasts of a vast collection of story books, encyclopedias, reference books and periodicals in English and Arabic. Story books of all genres written by acclaimed writers all over the world are available. Throughout the year, efforts are made to add books to the library by purchasing from leading book stores and from the Book Fair.
The Library and the e-Library is a hub where our students collaborate, discover and critically polish their skills with the guidance of their teachers.
Since it is adjacent to the Multipurpose hall, there are activities held like reading promotions, reading clubs activities, exhibits of projects in STEM, Science and innovation including Mathematics, English and Arabic programs and competitions.
The School Clinic, Student Well-being, and Health and Safety
The School Clinic is regularly inspected and approved by health authorities with the latest –OUTSTANDING – in all areas of Health and Safety including the emergency provisions for COVID-19 emergency facilities.
The focus of the Clinic is to ensure that the students’ health and wellness needs are attended to. Our goals are to empower students with appropriate knowledge, skills, and confidence within the realm of health and well-being, and bring their ability to care for themselves and others around them. We know that students learn most effectively when they are happy and healthy.
We have qualified registered nurse to attend to the health needs of our students and staff.
Parking Areas and Transport Facilities
APS operates the school buses maintaining safety standards and strictly following the specifications and regulations in accordance with the Road Transport Authority of Al-Ain. All buses are fitted with Video Surveillance Systems and Global Positioning Systems for the purpose of student safety and protection. We ensure that the parents and students get the best service.
Our school buses are parked at the spacious bus parking at the back of the school and carefully inspected for possible maintenance routines.
The parking area in front of the school is manned by our maintenance personnel with the security guard to avoid traffic congestion.
Safety from Fire
The building is well equipped with firefighting implements like extinguishers and hose pipes that are installed all throughout the buildings and in sensitive areas. A fire alarm drill is conducted on a regular basis to train all the staff members and the students to act appropriately, and quickly go to their designated evacuation areas in case such an emergency arises.
