Learning Measurements

(Standardized Tests)

Aside from the formative and summative assessments, we measure our effectiveness as international school by engaging our students to different standardized test such as:

NWEA MAP – Measure of Academic Progress

The MAP NWEA test is a computerized adaptive test that is designed to measure a student’s knowledge and skills in reading, language usage, mathematics, and science. The test is administered two times a year, allowing us to track each student’s academic growth and identify areas where additional support may be needed.

SAT – Scholastic Achievement Test

AP – Advanced Placement Test

The SAT is designed to measure a student’s readiness for college-level coursework in reading, writing, and mathematics. It consists of multiple-choice questions and an optional essay section, and is administered by the College Board, a non-profit organization that also provides other educational services such as AP courses and exams.

MOE Test – Ministry of Education Test

The Ministry of Education Test (MOE Test) is an annual standardized test that is administered to all students in the UAE. The test is designed to assess students’ knowledge and skills in various subjects, including Arabic language, Islamic studies, English language, mathematics, science, and social studies.

EMSAT – Emirates Standardized Test

The EMSAT test is designed to assess students’ academic skills and knowledge in subjects such as English language, mathematics, and science. The test is used to measure student progress and performance, as well as to provide feedback to teachers, students, and parents on areas of strength and weakness.

TIMSS – Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study
