APS Partnership and Affiliation with Universities<\/p>\n

We, the APS is a partner of Universities like; UAE University, Al Ain University and Abu Dhabi University as a training ground for students who are about to finish their bachelors\u2019 degree. It has been going on for more almost 10 years.<\/p>\n

The Board of Governance<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Being an independent private school, decision-making authority at the highest level resides in the owners and Board of Governance. The Board of Governance focuses on two areas critical to the success of the school:<\/p>\n

  • It recommends, evaluates, and supports the headmaster, to whom it delegates authority to manage the school.<\/li>\n
  • It develops broad institutional policies that guide the headmaster in running the school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The (PC) Parents\u2019 Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    An organization of parents established to develop a partnership between parents, teachers and students. It serves as a voice where parents, teachers, administrators, discuss ways to promote quality education, encourage community involvement, and work for a safe and healthy environment. The objectives of the Parent Council are to engage families in the education and development of their children, promote positive change at the school, and work together to deliver a calendar of social and school events.<\/p>\n

    Parents and Teachers Meetings<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Formal parents\/teachers Meetings are scheduled termly to facilitate open communication between parents and teachers regarding students\u2019 progress.
    Refer to the school calendar for specific dates.<\/p>\n

    Parents’ Meetings<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    A Parent Meeting is usually held in each term, during which parents will have the opportunity to meet their child`s teachers. It is advisable for parents to meet the class teacher and all concerned teachers of their child.<\/p>\n
